| Lonesome Dove We will miss you forever Dove was with us for 16 of her 20 years and she had her own fan club. She taught many children how to ride and win. Ginny purchased this mare knowing she had founder but it was "love" at first sight and she fought top keep keep her sound and only bred her a very few times but after fighting founder for all those years it finally took it's toll. Though her farrier said "She still looked good enough to go into a halter class" it was clear she was in pain and Ginny finally made the decision she'd been dreading for years. Dove was laid to rest under our big cotton wood tree 11/05/2005 |
